Duterte's meeting at the IATF, nation address, was withdrawn on June 15

President Rodrigo Duterte's meeting was canceled tomorrow with top government officials leading the country's COVID-19 response. According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the president's meeting with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases (IATF) has been canceled on June 15 and will be held in Manila. He said on June 15 the presidential meeting was also set for the town quarantine. However, the IATF has continued this afternoon on whether restrictions will be further lifted or quarantine measures will be effective starting June 16. Roque said the IATF decision will be based on the doubling time of the COVID-19 cases and critical care capability and will then be submitted to President Duterte for approval. The Palace has already announced that the president will meet tomorrow at the IATF in Davao City, but the president is expected to return home in Manila.
