Sharon, united in calls for mass testing in the country
Megastar Sharon Cuneta has appealed for further mass testing efforts, amid rising numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the country.
Cuneta believes flattening of the Philippine curve is slow because the country lacks mass testing.
The actess-singer pointed out that the country's slow mass testing activities have left her questioning whether she should return to work on her mother television network.
Cuneta insisted that the virus would not be removed without mass testing and that they would not know if any of the thousands of ABS-CBN employees were sick or not.
Despite Sharon's fears of COVID-19 mass testing efforts in the country, the singer-actress shared her excitement after earning P2.3-million from her online Mother's Day concert on Sunday.
The Mega Star said it will allocate its proceeds to purchase personal protective equipment for frontliners and to help families in the vulnerable sector who are unable to obtain adequate financial support amid the Central-wide enhanced community quarantine.
